Galaway Creek Golf Course is a nine hole course with sporting grass greens and watered fairways and covers just over 2,600 yards. A meandering creek bisecting the course adds to the challenge of the game. Floating golf balls are a must for hole #2 as the lake threatens to grab your ball as you aim for the green. Should you escape the water, don't relax yet since the vast assortment of trees dotting the landscape among staggered sand traps silently wait to snatch a ball not heading in the direction of the green. Directions to the golf course from Interstate 80 (Exit 342) is south three miles, turn right on Birch Street, left on S. 15th Street and go two blocks south.
