PREFACE

         This Municipal Code of Henderson Nebraska, 1999, contains all the ordinances of the Municipality of a general nature. Certain ordinances which are continued in force after this codification for the purpose of rights acquired, fines, penalties, forfeitures, liabilities incurred, and actions therefor have been omitted from this publication.

         A Table of Contents appears after this page, and a complete index to the subject matter included in the several chapters and sections herein will be found at the end of this volume. Convenient cross-references to the Statutes of Nebraska indicate the source of legislative power and supplement the text.

         The text of the Henderson Municipal Code, 1999, is arranged in the same manner as the Revised Statutes of Nebraska. The number preceding the hyphen is the chapter number; immediately following the hyphen is the article number; and following that is the section number. Each section number is complete within itself indicating the number of the chapter, article, and section.
