Article 4. Natural Gas

§10-401             NATURAL GAS; FRANCHISE. The Governing Body has granted to the Kansas-Nebraska Energy, Inc. the authority to construct, maintain, and operate a gas transmission, and distribution system within the Municipality. Actual details of the agreement and the present gas rates, charges, and fees are available at the Municipal Clerk̓s office. (Ref. 17-528.02 RS Neb.)

§10-402              NATURAL GAS; RATE FILING FEE. The City of Henderson, Nebraska, shall charge and collect a filing fee from any natural gas company upon said company filing with the Municipality a request to increase its gas rates. The fee that shall be charged and collected from said company shall be the sum of three hundred dollars ($300.00).
